School Leaver Programme

Forbes offers school leavers the opportunity to undertake the Business & Administration Apprenticeship Scheme. This is a unique programme developed in conjunction with Burnley College which enables young employees (16-22) to gain their first work related qualification. The programme will last for a maximum of 12 months, during which the Apprentice will study towards, and be expected to attain a NVQ level 2 in Business & Administration, a technical certificate, touch typing at 30 wpm (words per minute) and the Forbes Certificate in IT which includes Microsoft Word, Excel and Legal Text Processing.

All Apprentices will attend the Forbes Training Suite (based in Blackburn) one day a month for off the job training.
