Community support

We are very active in supporting projects which benefit the community in which we have offices. The types of projects are broad ranging and include our sponsorship over a number of years of the annual pre season Blackburn and Darwen Football Festival. With the firm’s support the tournament has grown to be one of the largest in the country.

Forbes also sponsors the Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and District Junior and Youth football league, not only providing financial backing but time, support and encouragement.

For the last 4 years we have been principal sponsors of the Christmas Spectacular at Blackburn Cathedral and are also the sponsors of the Ribble Valley 10k road race held annually over the Christmas period. These are just a few examples of the numerous projects we get involved in.

Our partners are also involved with local schools and charities providing both support and legal advice.
