I am an Associate having trained and qualified with the firm. I qualified as a Solicitor in 1999. I am a member of the firm's Anti Fraud Unit and act on behalf of Local Authorities and Companies in defending Employers and Public liability claims.

I also have particular expertise in HSE and Criminal prosecutions. I regularly represent companies and public sector bodies facing criminal investigations and prosecutions.

Recent examples of cases where I have represented Companies and Local Authorities at Inquests, HSE interviews and prosecutions at Court include:-

• A HSE prosecution of a Local Auhority for chemical exposure caused to an employee and members of the public

• Representing a Local Authority at an inquest and an employee for criminal proceedings following a fatality when a pedestrian came into the path of a reversing bin wagon

• Attendance at an inquest relating to mesothelioma exposure allegedly caused when the deceased resided in a council house

• Representation of a Social Landlord at an inquest when the deceased fell into a hot bath with the cause pinpointed by the HSE to a defective thermostat

As a member of the occupational disease unit, I have handled noise - induced hearing loss and hand arm vibration claims.
