I am Managing Partner of the firm's Leeds office and am also Head of the Forbes firm wide Housing Team. I specialise in Employers Liability, Housing, Social Services, Education and Industrial Disease Claims. I have over 20 years experience in acting for the Public Sector.

I am a member of the occupational disease unit and have extensive experience of claims arising from asbestos exposure. I was involved in the trigger litigation concerning policy cover, an asbestos case on behalf of Bolton MBC (Bolton MBC -v- MMI). I also have a particular interest in claims arising from allegations of abuse and failure to take into care.

I am the Joint Head of Trainee Solicitors recruitment for the firm and a “Best Value” Specialist. I have undertaken an extensive Best Value review of a leading Metropolitan Borough Council. I have also taken several cases to the Court of Appeal.

I am a member of FOIL.
