High Court Advocacy

Solicitors can now qualify, under the Law Society's rigorous examination, to become Higher Court Advocates and conduct jury trials in the Crown Court, the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords. We have three such Higher Court Advocates at Forbes.

The Higher Advocacy Team means that in appropriate cases we can provide advice and representation from the Police Station to the House of Lords without involving the additional expense and complications of employing a barrister.

This progressive approach has enabled Forbes to offer and provide a different and successful method of representation at the Crown and Higher Courts.

Should our clients prefer to instruct a barrister we continue to have close relationships with a number of chambers.
