…will usually include advising public sector organizations and local businesses on tricky employment issues, drafting various employment related documents, answering loads of emails or presenting cases in the Tribunal!

Expertise

I advise on all employment issues from hiring to firing in both the private and public sectors. I have dealt extensively with Transfer of Undertaking Regulations and other employment legislation, drafting and advising on contracts of employment, policies and procedures and Compromise Agreements. I am often involved in schemes of redundancies and discrimination cases.

I advise companies in all sectors including manufacturing, retail (food and non food) and service industries and I regularly speak at HR and industry conferences and seminars as well as at Forbes events. I have been quoted in and written articles for many journals and in the local press.
In addition, I regularly provide advice and representation to a number of local authorities and housing associations.
Clients also include a Premiership football club, significant high profile leisure outlets, as well as smaller owner managed businesses.
