A typical day…

I divide my time between attending on clients and in some circumstances their accountants, Insolvency Practitioners and their banking representatives, working on projects and transactions, reviewing and amending contractual documents, entering into negotiations with the opposition, working alongside other members of the Department and other members of the Commercial Team at Forbes. I also act on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners and Lending Institutions.

Expertise

I assist clients when starting up in business right through to expansion or sale of their business. This covers areas such as formation, banking, joint ventures, contractual matters, intellectual property, media & broadcasting, sports law, disposals and mergers and acquisitions.

I also assist clients and Insolvency Practitioners in insolvency matters. In particular I specialise in acting on behalf of businesses and Insolvency Practitioners when buying or selling businesses in distress and/or restructuring.

I also assist Lending Institutions on a broad range of matters including legal due diligence on mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructures.

I act for small - medium sized family business right through to large corporate clients.
