One of Forbes' 'success stories' is Rachel Hall. Rachel left school and went onto college, however, Rachel decided that college wasn't for her and came to Forbes six months after leaving school to become an Office Assistant based in Blackburn. Rachel has always been interested in law and wanted to work in an environment where she would be able to explore her interests further.

Rachel says that she has always enjoyed training and alongside completing her NVQ, gaining touch typing qualifications, learning shorthand and completing a legal text processing course, she has been provided with the skills that have helped her to progress within the firm.

Since completing the Apprenticeship, Rachel has herself said that she has grown in confidence which has helped with her promotion and development into her current role.

Rachel now works in the Billing Department as an Accounts Clerk and bills files for the Insurance Department. Rachel explained that accountancy had never been a career that she had previously considered, although she has always had a keen interest in Maths. However, Rachel added that since she has been give the opportunity to work in the Accounts Department, accountancy is a career that she would now like to pursue. Rachel would like to achieve a degree in accountancy and one day become a qualified accountant.
