- A: TUPE and contractual variation - An Update
This session will explore the changes introduced by new TUPE regulations in January 2014 and provide an update on recent case law. It will also cover contractual variation both generally and following a TUPE transfer.
- B: Parental leave and Flexible Working - A Practical Guide
This session will cover how to deal with requests for leave for maternity, paternity, adoption, parental leave, time off for dependants and the practical issues employers face in dealing with such issues. The session will also include an update in respect of the new rules, such as the flexible working hours change in July 2014.
- C: Dealing with Capability & Sickness Absence - A Manager's Toolkit
A practical guide on how to effectively manage sickness absence and negotiate performance management. The session also provides a legal update on disability discrimination, associative discrimination and when to make reasonable adjustments.
