Forbes Solicitors has beaten off national and local competition to win a two-year contract to supply all legal services to Preston's College.
The firm's successful tender for the Legal Services Contract covers Employment and HR, Commercial, Corporate Finance, Investments and Taxation, Litigation, Property, Education and Student Matters and Constitutional and Regulatory Legal Services.
Preston's College, recently confirmed by Ofsted as a Good provider and ranked 7th in the country in 2016/17 for classroom based courses, is a new client for Forbes and adds to its 450-strong, nationwide client base of Education providers.
Jonathan Holden, Partner and Head of Education at Forbes, said: "I am delighted that we have been appointed as the sole supplier for legal services for Preston's College, a key education establishment in Lancashire which we have been keen to work with.
"Being appointed across so many work areas is testament to the track-record and reputation of our team as a One Stop Shop for Education Legal Services. We are very much looking forward to growing the relationship with Preston's College and I believe that the appointment strengthens Forbes' position as Lancashire's go-to legal provider for the Education sector."
Lis Smith Principal and Chief Executive at Preston's College said: "Forbes Solicitors provided a high quality tender, are a local provider and an ideal fit with the culture and ethos of the college. We are delighted to be working with them and know that all our legal matters are in safe hands."
Forbes' Education and Employment departments are "recommended in the North West" in Legal 500, the leading guide to law firms in the UK.
