Blackburn Incorporated Law Association (BiLA) has raised £1,445 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation at its annual dinner, held at Northcote at the Rovers in Blackburn.
The cancer charity, based at Royal Preston Hospital, supports world class cancer treatment throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria.
The Foundation is BiLA's chosen charity for the year and this year's President of the Association John Myles, of Forbes Solicitors, said: "The dinner is the flagship event for the Association and was a most enjoyable night. It is also pleasing that due to the generosity of our guests a very good cause has benefited."
Dan Hill, Head of Fundraising at Rosemere Cancer Foundation said: "To once again be supported by such an established and prestigious group like BiLA is an honour for Rosemere.
"The money raised by everyone's generosity on the evening will make a big difference for local cancer patients by helping us to support the delivery of world class cancer treatment to patients from across Lancashire and South Cumbria."
