Tuscan inspired Coffee Bar La Collina is set to open a new premises in Manchester's Northern Quarter in January 2020 after being advised over the leasing of the site by Forbes Solicitors.
The new venture will be based on the ground floor in Fourways House on Tariff street, with artisan coffee from their roasters in Bradford, cakes and bakes, Tuscan sandwiches, sharing platters, craft beers from 7 Brothers Brewery in Salford, imported wines and prosecco. It will be open for breakfast and into the evening.
Helen Marsh, a Partner in Forbes' Commercial Property team, who advised on the deal, said: "This is an exciting new business venture and we are delighted to have been able to help make it a reality, in what is a delightful, Grade II listed building, perfectly-placed in the Northern Quarter and in close proximity to Manchester's' vibrant Ancoats".
Helical's brick-built Grade II listed former packing warehouse provides 59,000sq ft of space for a variety of businesses over the basement, ground and five upper floors.
It has already benefitted from a refurbishment to provide exposed brickwork, steel columns, timber floors and exposed ceilings.
La Collina Director Russell Verity said: "We hope to bring a little of the magic of our farm in Tuscany to Manchester, whilst at the same time supporting local businesses. The experience provided by Helen and the team at Forbes has been invaluable as we have worked to secure the right location."
