Rebecca Webster of Forbes Solicitors' ASB Team has been successful in obtaining an interim anti-social behaviour injunction with a positive requirement relating to access into the property of a tenant of a large social landlord in the Midlands. Anti-social behaviour included an unprovoked violent assault on a staff member while carrying out their day to day duties. Swift action was taken to provide immediate protection for staff.
Rebecca comments, "We sought to include positive terms to the injunction that the tenant must allow access for inspection and any subsequent repairs, as well as strict prohibitory terms relating to anti-social behaviour. Any breach will be in contempt of court and punishable by imprisonment or fine."
