Go Karting

On a damp and cold November evening, The Forbes Housing & Regeneration Team pitted their driving skills against some the country's leading housing providers at an evening of Go Karting at Team Sport in Warrington.

Competition between the registered providers was fierce, with several racers ending up in the tyre wall after some underhand overtaking manoeuvres and a certain driver being black flagged twice in the first heat - no names! After several heats, and several more black flags, the semi finals took place and the competition ramped up a level when the top fourteen drivers of the evening faced off in the hotly anticipated final.

After seven fast and furious laps and two red flag "incidents" stopping the race, Asim Iqbal from Guinness was crowned Champion. He was very closely followed by Forbes' Housing and Regeneration Group Solicitor John Pickervance with third place going to Edward Taylor from St Vincent's.

Roll on next year and congratulations to the winners!
