North-West law firm Forbes Solicitors is pleased to announce the qualification of Lachlan McLean, who is now a solicitor in their thriving housing team.
Lachlan's route to qualification was more unusual than that of a typical lawyer. He originally joined the firm as a barrister and after two years of training and an additional exam has now qualified as a solicitor. Lachlan commented "Forbes provided me with invaluable guidance and assistance in helping me to achieve the next stage of my professional career, for which I am extremely grateful. I believe this shows their clarity of thinking through innovative recruitment and a desire to become industry leaders by employing specialist legal professionals"
As a member of the firm's housing team Lachlan will be specialising in housing litigation for private and public sector residential landlords, especially in anti social behaviour cases. His advocacy background as a non practising barrister means he also has additional expertise in representing landlords at Court including possession, injunctions and committals.
Siobhan Hardy, Partner and Head of the Housing team says "I would like to congratulate Lachlan on the hard work involved in qualifying, this addition will add further strength in depth to our highly-regarded housing team"
He will soon be speaking at a Forbes seminar on how social landlords can get to grips with anti-social behaviour.
