Forbes Solicitors is pleased to announce a three year sponsorship deal with Penwortham Cricket Club. The Club, founded in 1880 provides training and facilities for local cricketers of all ages and is run entirely on a voluntary basis.

Forbes sponsorship has already helped towards the supply of new kit for all the sides, as well as helping put new coaches through courses.

Club Chairman, David Boardman said "Sponsorship at grassroot level is a vital part of maintaining and improving the facilities at the club and in particular helping the development of youngsters who are the lifeblood and future, not only at Penwortham but of our sport in general. The link with Forbes has been a great boost to the club for the start of the 2008 season and we hope this will be the start of an ongoing connection with the firm."

Winston Hood, Managing Partner of Forbes Preston office commented, "The firm looks forward to working with Penwortham Cricket Club, it has a great ethos and sporting manner which ties in perfectly with the firm's core values."
