The successful partnership between The Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) and Forbes Solicitors has seen the second graduation of staff through the Forbes Diploma for Legal Secretaries.
The year long course assesses secretaries on aspects of their role in line with the Level 3 National Occupational Standards. It ends with portfolio building and a final project to drive continuous improvement with a focus on client care.
All the secretaries proudly received certificates of Pass, Merit or Distinction from Daniel King, Chair of Forbes' HR and Training Committee, who commented, "We are extremely proud of the calibre of our staff and the commitment that is made by those who take part in such development opportunities".
Ian Grant, ILEX representative and External Verifier, also attended the event having stated that "the on-going strengths of this course are clear and … [it] remains a demanding and thorough course for the training and development of legal secretaries and remains a programme that undoubtedly can be judged a beacon of excellence in both standards and achievement above the national average" continuing that Forbes were worthy finalists in the Be Inspired In Business Awards.
Those awarded the Forbes Diploma for Legal Secretaries, Accredited by ILEX Paralegal Programmes were Karen Whittaker, Crime; Hannah Price, Commercial Property; Hollie Holding, Crown Court; Carla Jenkinson, Crime; Joanne Birkbeck, Residential Conveyancing; Rebecca Gileney, Will, Trust, Tax and Probate; Dawn Pickering, Personal Injury; Bridgette Ward, Family, pictured above with Ian Grant (ILEX), Emma Rhodes and Samantha Jones, Forbes in-house Trainers.
