Lucy Worrall, Lauren Smith and Lauren Boyle from our Housing and Regeneration team hosted a table of clients at the glitzy event on Thursday 22 October 2015 at The Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, Manchester.

This year saw the first Women in Housing conference held before the awards, with presentations, debates and workshops along with some fantastic guest speakers.

The Women in Housing Awards, which runs in partnership with Women in Social Housing is in its third year and is proving to be a successful event where recognition is given for the achievements women have made across the housing sector. This year there were 9 categories and each category was judged by an independent panel consisting of professionals across the industry. Lucy Worrall, Head of Housing and Regeneration (Property) here at Forbes Solicitors, had the pleasure of being a judge at last year's awards and this year presented the award for Communications Professional of the Year.

The awards evening, hosted by Olympian Diane Modahl and attended by over 450 housing professionals welcomed guest speaker, Katie Piper who gave an inspiring speech before presenting the well-deserved winners with their awards.
