Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts News
10 December, 2015
It's not something we really want to think about, but making a will is something we all have to consider at some point in our lives.
In order to encourage people to make a will, North West based Forbes Solicitors participated in Will Week, during which 100% of the will writing fee was donated to St Catherine's Hospice, Lostock Hall, Preston.
"Solicitors in our department gave their time and will writing expertise for free, in return for a donation to the hospice," commented Jennifer Wilkinson, Associate at Forbes Solicitors.
"St Catherine's Hospice is a local charity that offers invaluable support to people in the community. We know that they rely heavily on financial support from their local community to survive and we are delighted that we are able to contribute towards this,' added Jennifer.
Forbes raised £2,395 by writing 30 wills during Will Week and many of the participants where friends, or volunteers at the hospice.
