Forbes celebrates The Lex 100 success by announcing four new trainees

Leading North West legal firm Forbes Solicitors has celebrated success in six categories of The Lex 100's annual trainee survey by announcing that it has begun training four new solicitors.

The Lex 100 is the most comprehensive assessment of law firm training contracts in the UK and this year gathered over 3,000 anonymous responses from trainees at 173 law firms across the country.

It has now announced that Forbes is a 2016/17 winner in the following six categories: Quality of work, Client contact, Low stress levels, Social life, Confidence of being kept on and Diversity.

Forbes has marked the success by revealing that Yara Cherbetji, Trishna Modessa, Abigail Mottram and Daniel Crayford have now been accepted for its Solicitor training programme.

Yara joined the firm in 2013 and has more than five years' experience in Insurance litigation. She has completed a number of in-house secondments and is experienced in handling public, employers and product liability claims and assisting with large and complex losses.

Trishna joined the firm in March 2016 as a Paralegal in the commercial property team and assisted in a wide range of commercial property matters including sales, purchases and leases including reviewing title documents and preparing lease and title reports.

Trishna completed her LLB at BPP University in London and following this she went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP University in Manchester where she achieved a Distinction.

Abigail joined the firm in 2015 after completing her LPC at the University of Law in Manchester and previously worked as a Paralegal in the employment department.

Daniel joined the firm in August 2014 as a Paralegal in the Social Services and Large Loss teams of the Defendant Insurance Department, assisting on a wide variety of complex claims.

Dan completed his LLB at the University of Warwick, before obtaining an LLM in International and European Law from the Universities of Lille II, Saarbrücken and Warwick jointly. Dan completed his LPC at the University of Law in Manchester.

Abi, Dan and Trishna are based at Rutherford House, Blackburn, and Yara is based in Leeds.
