Floors N Carpets Ltd is expanding following the purchase of new premises in Blackburn.

The family business has acquired a 128,000 sq ft premises in Copy Nook, Blackburn which is surrounded by 7.5 acres of land, providing space for growth and development.

Founded in 1980 by Mohammed Isa Namaji, Floors N Carpets Ltd is an independent, wholesale distributor of carpets, laminates, vinyls and flooring accessories, which is now run by Mohammed's sons Lookmaan and Mubarak.

The move is expected to create new jobs as the company looks to expand and increase the range and amount of stock they offer to customers across the UK.

Richard Clithero, Forbes' Commercial Property Partner acted for Floors N Carpets Ltd and funding was provided by NatWest.

Lookmaan Namaji, Director of Floors N Carpets Ltd comments, "As a proud Blackburn family business we are delighted to have secured new premises in the heart of the town which fit in with the plans we already have in place for expansion. We are now looking to secure further premises in the Midlands allowing us to quadruple our customer base across the UK.
