Forbes Managing Partner appointed as President of The Preston Law Society

Lancashire law firm Forbes Solicitors is pleased to announce that Winston Hood, the Managing Partner of its Preston office has been appointed as the President of The Preston Incorporated Law Society (PILS).

PILS was established in 1834 and provides a forum for members to meet and discuss the challenges that those in the profession face. It also liaises with professional bodies including The Law Society and The Solicitors Regulatory Authority on issues affecting the Preston area.

The appointment is a reflection of Winston's dedication and experience in the legal sector and he was elected by his fellow members of the Society.

Winston comments on his appointment, "I am delighted to have been elected into the position and look forward to assisting the society in promoting and maintaining the high standards it has set in the local legal community."
