Forbes Raises £2,961 For Hospices During Wills Weeks

Solicitors from Forbes have helped raise £2,961 for two Lancashire hospices by donating their services for free during Wills weeks.

During the fundraising events at St Catherine's Hospice, Lostock Hall, and East Lancashire Hospice, Blackburn, the Forbes Wills Team waived their normal fee to write a standard Will in return for a charitable donation.

The gesture raised £966 for East Lancashire Hospice and £1,995 for St Catherine's Hospice.

Victoria Motley, an Associate Solicitor for Forbes, dealing in Wills, Probate, Tax and Trusts said: "It is vital that people are aware of the importance of making end of life provision and this applies to everyone, not just those with a life-shortening condition.

"We are delighted to have been able to help out and raise so much money for two incredibly good causes."
