The Blackburn-based provider of total engineering solutions has been bought by T Clarke plc.
In its role as legal adviser, Forbes Solicitors provided legal advice on the deal that will see Managing Director Peter Dawson's retirement from the Business.
Corporate Law Solicitor Daniel Milnes said: "It is always good to help a client realise the value in their business that they have worked hard over the years to build. The whole business law team and our colleagues in other specialist teams within the firm have worked together to a tight timetable to make this deal happen for our client."

Ivan Bland, Clive Jackson and Keith Gaylor, the three executive directors of D&S Engineering, have committed to remain with the company for a minimum of at least three years after completion.
On exiting the business, Mr Dawson said: "I could not be happier to be leaving the business in the safe hands of T Clarke and I hope that our clients and staff will be able to share in the future success which I am sure the group will bring for D&S. I would like to thank Ford Campbell for finding the perfect buyer for D&S, and far exceeding our expectations".
The acquisition of D&S is the first deal for T Clarke led by newly appointed Chief Executive Mark Lawrence, who said: "This acquisition represents an important strategic development for us which will diversify and strengthen our earnings profile. We welcome the D&S Engineering team into the group and I am sure that the business will prosper as part of T. Clarke."
