A team of young people from Child Action Northwest's Young Carers Project are staging a fundraising Charity Gala Opening Night Reception at the Thwaites Empire Theatre on Monday 9th May. BBC Radio Lancashire's John 'Gilly' Gillmore & Carole Turner will host the 'gangsters and molls' themed event in the upstairs foyer bar.
VIP Tickets in the circle are £15 which includes a complimentary programme, a glass of wine on arrival and chocolate truffles before the musical.
The event has been kindly sponsored by Forbes Solicitors and Mayan Truffles with support from BBC Radio Lancashire and The Whalley Wine Shop.
Young Carers are children and young people who have responsibilities for caring for their parents or other members of their family who have physical or mental illnesses or disabilities. Profits from the event will go towards staffing for relaxation and respite activities, trips and chill out sessions for the young carers.
