Lancashire Education HR Forum - 13th November

The Lancashire Education HR Forum is the second in a series of free events aimed at Head Teachers, School Business Managers and School Governors who want to keep up to date with relevant changes and developments in Employment Law and HR. The forums also offer the opportunity to network with others who work within the Education sector. Safeguarding disclosures - What is the duty of care owed by former employers in an education context?

The case of Melik Camurat v Thurrock Borough Council addressed the issue as to what duty of care was owed to a teacher by their former employer when providing safeguarding disclosures.
