Regulatory Notice Issued for Gas Safety Failings

This month, the Homes and Communities Agency ('HCA') has issued another regulatory notice following the failure of a social landlord to ensure that they complied with annual gas safety inspections to secure the safety of their tenants.

In this instance, Yorkshire Housing Limited contacted the HCA to inform them that during a management audit a number of properties with out of date gas safety certificates were identified. The management audit was...........to read the full article please click here.

Forbes' Mad Hatters Raise Money For Local Children's Charities

Staff at Forbes' Blackburn offices raised over £1,900 for Blackburn Youth Zone and Child Action North West.

An array of fundraising activities took place over a week and culminated in staff climbing through the rabbit hole to enjoy a 'Mad Hatter's Tea Party' complete with Alice and her friends from Wonderland. A raffle was also held and prizes were kindly donated by many local businesses and several national retailers.

Andrea Stamp, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Forbes, comments, "We were delighted to raise so much for two amazing local charities. I would like to thank all the staff that got behind the fundraising and made the week a resounding success."

Save the date - ASB Conference

The Forbes' Housing & Regeneration Team will be hosting a full day ASB conference on 25th February 2015 at the Village Hotel, Bury. The conference will be packed with top quality speakers and will include breakout sessions, giving delegates the chance to gain an understanding of specific topics.
