Nick is a solicitor in the Corporate team at Forbes Solicitors and assists clients of all shapes and sizes with transactional and advisory work. This can include working on mergers and acquisitions, assisting with business start ups or the creation of joint ventures, drafting shareholders' agreements, implementing corporate re-organisations / re-structures or providing general company law advice.
Nick is able to draw upon this experience to provide advice to insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders on the sale and purchase of distressed assets (including pre packs), drafting documentation in respect of insolvency appointments and advising on security documentation.
Nick also is part of the SIPP & SSAS Group where he advises SIPP's on the disposal of shares; in addition to drafting and negotiating loan agreements (including Authorised Employer Loan documentation), security documentation and deeds of priority with Lending Institutions or other third parties.
Additionally, Nick provides assistance to various Lending Institutions where they provide finance on mergers and acquisitions and on corporate restructures. This includes drafting and negotiating banking documentation and carrying out and reviewing legal due diligence.
