Acting on behalf of shareholders in connection with the multi-million pound sale of the shares of a company including its only asset, a Medical Centre in the North West, occupied by separate GP and Pharmacy tenants. The buyer was a PLC hedge fund which meant that we encountered numerous complicating requirements notwithstanding that we were working to a 20-working day completion target. Our client was unexpectedly based abroad for almost the duration of the transaction, requiring many virtual professional team meetings and digital solutions. We completed within 1 month of PLC board approval of the Heads of Terms, much to the delight of all parties.
