Associate, Housing & Regeneration
Paul is an Associate in the Housing Litigation Department. Paul advises on all aspects of housing law but has particular expertise in housing management, local authorities, homelessness, public law and the Equality Act 2010. During the Covid-19 pandemic he advised a number of large local authorities regarding management of their temporary accommodation and now advises regularly on housing management issues (in general needs, supported housing, specialist housing and temporary homeless accommodation). Paul has a particular interest in policies and procedures and enjoys delivering training and working with clients to develop best practices in housing management. He has also been granted Higher Rights of Audience in the civil courts and has been appointed to the Housing Committee of the Law Society of England & Wales. Outside of work, Paul enjoys cycling and boardgames.
