About Kitty

Kitty is a Solicitor in the Crime department and specialises in all aspects of criminal defence. Kitty joined Forbes Solicitors in 2021 and completed her training contract at the firm.

Since joining the firm, Kitty has worked closely with Nichola McTear in the Specialist Crime Division representing those accused of serious sexual and violent offences including rape and murder.

Kitty also runs cases at the Crown Court, representing clients facing various charges whilst working with instructed counsel and all types of defence experts.

In addition to Crown Court work, Kitty regularly represents clients at the Magistrates Court as well as clients who have been arrested and detained at the Police Station.

Kitty will shortly begin her training to complete her Magistrates Court Qualification and work towards becoming a member of the Law Society's Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme.
