Forbes Solicitors Advises on £138m of Deals

Forbes Solicitors corporate team has announced that it has advised deals with a combined value of £138m in its financial year ending 30 April 2023.

The figures were boosted by the firm advising on a number of multi-million pound deals in 2022. Highlights include advising Pavement Testing Services Ltd on its sale to Phenna Gorup; assisting R&G Fluid Power Group Limited with its strategic acquisitions following its take-over by Diploma plc; assisting CDK Group services Ltd with almost £12m of transactions on its acquisition trail, 11 deals for The Broking Investment Group as it invests in a number of commercial insurance brokers and completing 10 acquisitions with a combined value of just under £5m for Trust Inns Limited.

Speaking of the firm's recent successes, partner and head of corporate, David Filmer commented: "The deals undertaken in the last year represent the broad spread of our client base, from North West SMEs to national corporate clients. The last 12 months have also seen the Forbes Solicitors open a new Blackpool office and expand the team with key hires. This news comes on the back of the firm announcing 11 new promotions across a range of its specialisms including employment, insurance, contentious trusts & probate, commercial property, crime, housing & regeneration, and commercial litigation.
