Forbes Solicitors secures £20,000 dental negligence win vs NHS

Forbes Solicitors successfully secured a £20,000 settlement for a Claimant after the NHS fitted dental implants at an incorrect angle. This error caused significant pain and left the Claimant unable to wear dentures, eat, or speak properly.

The incident occurred in 2020; had the procedure been performed correctly, the Claimant would have received well-positioned implants, a comfortable fixed bridge and long-term functionality. The bridge would have lasted 15-20 years, while the implants themselves could have been permanent.

However, due to negligence, the implants had to be removed and replaced. The Claimant endured persistent discomfort, an unstable bridge, and ultimately required bone grafting to correct the damage.
