What to do when… A leaseholder requests an extension to their lease?

This session will provide landlords with an overview of how to correctly handle a request from tenants to extend a lease. In the session we will cover:

- Matters to be aware of if a formal rather than informal request to extend the lease is made

- Differences between extensions of a lease relating to houses and flats

- Requirements over title, leaseholder eligibility, long lease, valuation and costs.
