In this immersive session, we’ll take you through a complex case that includes a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) from the employee (who is demanding every piece of personal information held by the company, including private communications on personal devices!). As tensions rise, a series of scathing WhatsApp messages surface, revealing a toxic undercurrent that makes addressing the situation even more challenging. To make things even more intense, the employee has submitted a malicious grievance, accusing management of unfair treatment, further complicating the investigation and disciplinary process.
This isn’t just a typical workplace scenario—this is a deep dive into the real-world complications of handling difficult, high-stake situations in the workplace. From balancing legal obligations to managing emotions, we will dissect the steps involved in maintaining fairness, professionalism and compliance, while protecting the integrity of the organisation.
