Following a competitive tender process, Forbes Solicitors has been appointed to a Framework to provide legal services in the areas of Childcare Law, Adult Social Services and Community Care Law, General Conveyancing / Routine Property, Planning, Compulsory Purchase, Highways and Environmental, Major or Complex projects and Public Health.

Following this appointment, Forbes will now be able to receive legal instructions from public sector bodies supported by the procurement organisation.

YPO (Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation) procures products and services for a range of public sector bodies across Yorkshire and surrounding areas, including schools, local authorities, charities, emergency services, nurseries, and care homes.

With an office in Leeds, Forbes already represents a number of public sector bodies in the Yorkshire region and beyond, so is ideally placed to service YPO’s customer base.

Agnieszka Gajli, Strategic Procurement Manager at YPO, said “Our commitment to delivering innovative and customer-led solutions is at the heart of our ways of working at YPO and we’re pleased to have launched the new legal services framework during a milestone year for the organisation. We recognise how vital it is that public sector organisations can compliantly partner with trusted law firms and would like to thank all the suppliers appointed for their co-operation and communication during the tender process.”

“We are delighted to have been appointed to the YPO Framework, after what was a very competitive tender process.

“Forbes has many years proven experience and in delivering legal services to a wide range of public sector organisations across the country, and a growing number in the Yorkshire area, so we’re excited at the prospect of being able to extend our offer and expertise.”
