Ashleigh is a solicitor in the Commercial team, having qualified in March 2026. She joined Forbes Solicitors in August 2022 as a Paralegal before commencing her training contract in September 2024.
Ashleigh advises on a broad range of data protection matters, supporting organisations across both the public and private sectors with compliance under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. She provides clear, pragmatic advice aligned to each client’s operational and commercial objectives and acts as a virtual Data Protection Officer for a number of clients.
She regularly advises on matters including data subject access requests, freedom of information, privacy documentation, data protection policies and procedures, and data protection impact assessments. Ashleigh also has experience supporting clients with complex data sharing arrangements, including the preparation and negotiation of data sharing and data processing agreements.
Ashleigh works with organisations handling sensitive personal data across a variety of sectors, including those supporting vulnerable individuals. She is committed to delivering practical, proportionate advice that enables clients to meet their legal obligations while continuing to operate effectively.
