Duncan began his legal career as a qualified Solicitor in 1991, specialising in Criminal Law. He has dealt with offences, ranging from theft and assault cases, all the way up to large scale drug importation and supply cases, murder, manslaughter, rape, and other serious cases before the Crown Court.
Duncan’s been involved in preparing and presenting as a Higher Court Advocate for serious cases and lengthy confiscation proceedings under The Proceeds of Crime Act where thousands have been claimed against clients.
Having spent time away working as a Partner and Head of Criminal Law across his own firm, Duncan returned to the firm in 2018 and regularly practises in the Magistrates Court and the police station to assist the firm’s clients.
Duncan is now primarily involved in trial advocacy and believes thorough trial preparation is often the key to success in any criminal trial, and he is committed to providing the best possible representation to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for clients at every stage.
