Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has worked in Family Law throughout his career.

In 2010, Jonathan became a member of the Law Society’s Children panel which has enabled him to represent children in all aspects of children law and he regularly takes instructions from Cafcass guardians in both public and private law proceedings.

In recent years, Jonathan has specialised in acting on behalf of parents, children and other family members in care proceedings, adoption and special guardianship cases. He also represents children through their guardian in private law proceedings. Jonathan uses his expert knowledge of the law in advising his clients and representing them before the Magistrates, District Judges and Circuit Judges in the Family Court.

He has also represented children in Deprivation of Liberty applications in the High Court.

By providing tailored advice at all stages of proceedings and representing his clients in court, Jonathan prides himself in providing a seamless service and strives to achieve the best outcome.
