James qualified as a solicitor in September 2015 and joined the Forbes Employment team in November 2018.
James specialises in giving pragmatic Employment Law advice to a range of private and public sector clients. James advises and supports employers through all potentially contentious aspects of the employment relationship whether that be dealing with issues at the beginning of the relationship such as the drafting of restrictive covenants in employment contracts or the end of the employment relationship such as dealing with disciplinary hearings and dismissals.
James can also assist clients once the employment relationship has ended and has dealt with Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of his clients dealing with all aspects of a claim from filing a response, drafting witness statements and representing his clients at an Employment Tribunal.
James enjoys getting to know his clients businesses and working with them to help them achieve their goals.
