With the recent announcement of Lockdown Part 3, the Housing Secretary, Robert Jenrick, has announced that the so called "winter truce" will be extended to the 21 February 2021. This means that the restrictions on executing a writ or warrant of execution or restitution, or delivering a notice of eviction, will continue beyond the original end date of the 11 January 2021.

This means that whilst the Courts are still able to process applications for, and grant orders for possession, they are unable to be enforced until the 21 February 2021, save for certain circumstances, such as domestic violence.
