Jordan's legal studies began at the University of Central Lancashire where he obtained a first-class degree in Law and Mandarin. During this time, he was awarded the Lancashire Law School Prize for achieving the highest grade overall in his cohort in 2015, was placed on the Deans List in 2016 for academic excellence and received a fully-funded scholarship to study Mandarin in China for a year.
Jordan also undertook a master's degree in European Law at the University of Edinburgh, achieving distinction. He then successfully completed the Bar Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester where he was awarded an advocacy scholarship.
During and after his Bar course studies, Jordan worked as a paralegal in a firm of solicitors and gained experience in drafting LBAs, witness statements, pleadings, a variety of interim applications, and assisting in the conduct of civil litigation.
Jordan completed the Civil Mediation Council certification in 2017 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales on 24 November 2022.
