Rebecca joined Forbes in June 2018 as a Paralegal and qualified in March 2026 as a Solicitor.
Rebecca completed her Law Degree at the University of Wolverhampton in 2007. She then moved on to complete her Legal Practice Course and completed this at the Manchester Metropolitan University in 2012.
Since joining Forbes Rebecca has worked in the Abuse and Social Care Team from 2018, during this period she assisted in matters involving complex and emotive areas of historic abuse, Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse in Foster, Human Rights Act violations, Deprivation of Liberty, Adult Care Claims and Family Abuse. Rebecca then in May 2025 moved to the Casualty and Housing Disrepair and assisted on matters including Public Liability, Employers Liability and Housing Disrepair. During this period she assisted on matters dealing with fast track and multi-track personal injury claims.
Rebecca has now joined the Motor and Fraud Team and involved in dealing with matters involving Personal Injury, Vehicle Damage Credit Hire and Storage and Recovery. Prior to joining Forbes Rebecca worked previously in Claimant Motor Work so she has experience working for both the Claimant’s and Defendant’s. She able to manage everything from Small Claims to Multi-Track claims.
Rebecca also is involved in Costs work and has involvement in costs negotiations for Local Authority Clients working closely with Co-Defendants to get the best results for our clients.
Rebecca currently sits on the Tomorrow’s FOIL group as Immediate Past President. She held the role of President for Tomorrow’s from November 2023 until November 2025. Tomorrow’s FOIL run learning and social events which help newly qualified lawyers to build long relationships with fellow practitioners and counterpart insurance professionals. During her Presidency Rebecca was involved in podcasts, talking about her career and even created a Mock Trial based on a Public Liability Claim.
