Rebecca qualified as a Solicitor in September 2025 and is a member of the Contentious Trusts and Probate team at Forbes Solicitors.

Rebecca acts for a range of clients, including trustees, executors and beneficiaries, in both bringing and defending a range of matters, including:

  • Claims for reasonable financial provision pursuant to the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;

  • Contesting the validity of a Will, for example, based on undue influence, lack of capacity, or lack of knowledge or approval of the terms of the Will;

  • Breach of trust; - Trusts of Land and estoppel disputes

Rebecca graduated from the University of Chester in 2019 with an Upper Second-Class Honours degree in Law. She subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course with a Master’s in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law, achieving a Distinction in 2020.

She initially joined the firm in September 2020, working as a Paralegal in the Public Family Department, before commencing her training contract with the firm in September 2023 and joining the Contentious Trusts and Probate team in June 2024.
