At Forbes our employees are our most important asset. The success, continued development and growth of the firm can be attributed to our employees.
We have adopted the SQE route via a graduate apprenticeship for future trainees. Our graduate solicitor/SQE apprenticeship is for those who have completed their law degree, or those who have completed a non-law degree and the GDL.
You can apply for a graduate solicitor apprenticeship from the penultimate year of your law degree, or final year of your non-law degree (if you plan to complete a Graduate Diploma in Law, or equivalent).
If you have already commenced study towards, or completed, your legal practice course (LPC) please see our graduate recruitment pages for information regarding Periods of Recognised Training/Training Contracts.
Our graduate solicitor apprenticeship will support you through the new pathway to qualification by completion of the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE1 and SQE2).
The apprenticeship will provide you with learning and development opportunities in order for you to qualify as a solicitor. One day each week will be off-the-job study with the four remaining days based in the workplace, and as part of the apprenticeship you will complete various work placements across different areas of the business.
This programme is available for new and existing employees, providing there is an identified development need. The programme is delivered by Damar Training. This is a two-year blended learning programme, which consists of face-to-face and remote tutor visits, weekly webinars and e-tutorials. The Apprentice will study a number of units, working towards and being expected to attain, a CILEx Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice.
