The Lancashire Education HR Forum is the second in a series of free events aimed at Head Teachers, School Business Managers and School Governors who want to keep up to date with relevant changes and developments in Employment Law and HR. The forums also offer the opportunity to network with others who work within the Education sector. The forum will be chaired by Jonathan Holden, Head of Forbes' specialist Education Group and Chris Chesworth Head of HR Advisory Services, Capita HR Solutions for Education, and they will be supported by specialists from their businesses.

The forum will discuss how best to manage difficult conversations in educational organisations and the different approaches to take. There will also be opportunity for delegates to share experiences on objective setting and appraising performance. The Forum will conclude with a review of recent case law and its implications for the education sector.
