The HR & Training Team at Forbes are reinforcing their commitment to apprenticeships by supporting National Apprenticeship Week which takes place from 6th - 10th March.
Forbes Solicitors has been delivering the Business Administration Level II Apprenticeship in house for the last 16 years and several of Forbes' employees started their careers as Apprentices with the firm, including Lisa Hale, the Trainer who now delivers the Apprenticeship Programme.
During the 10th National Apprenticeship Week the team are attending various events across Lancashire celebrating the success of apprenticeships over the last decade and encouraging even more people to choose apprenticeships as a fast-track to a great career. In addition to these events, Frankie Haggerty, a Lancashire Young Apprentice Ambassador and Forbes' Paralegal who started her career as an Apprentice, will be attending a lunch event at the House of Commons, hosted by Minister of State for Apprenticeships and Skills, The Rt Hon Robert Halfon MP. 100 apprentices from a wide range of local communities, undertaking a variety of different apprenticeships will share their experiences as the Government aim to support 3 million high quality apprenticeships by 2020.

Since 2000 Forbes has supported 200 Apprentices through their Apprenticeship qualifications. In 2015 The quality of the Apprenticeship Programme run by Forbes Solicitors was recognised as Highly Commended at the Damar Apprenticeship Awards 2015. Forbes was recognised in the Employer of the Year category which showcased the business benefits gained through their commitment to Apprenticeships.
