Olivia is an Associate in the Contentious Trusts and Probate Team. She began working at Forbes Solicitors as a paralegal. Her abilities were quickly appreciated earning her the offer of a Period of Recognised Training and she successfully qualified as a solicitor in March 2019. Olivia has remained a member of the Contentious Trusts and Probate Team since qualification.
During her time with Forbes Solicitors Olivia has acted for trustees, Executors and beneficiaries managing a wide range of disputes many of which have been complex and of high value including:
- Claims for reasonable financial provision pursuant to the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
- Disputes about the validity of a Will or its proper interpretation;
- Disputes concerning the administration of a trust or an estate; and
- Allegations of maladministration against a trustee or personal representative of an estate.
