Forbes Solicitors is proud to launch our 'A Region Resilient About Growth' report. This new research reveals the challenges and opportunities for businesses in the region and champions the contribution SMEs make to the North West's economy. In its third year, the report has celebrated 100 of the region's businesses for demonstrating reinvention & resilience.
This year's research provides a fascinating insight into what the region's SMEs expect from the 12 months ahead. The results are overwhelmingly optimistic with 85% of North West-based SMEs sharing they are confident their revenues will grow over the next year, even in challenging economic conditions.
Despite the optimism around their own growth, more than half of businesses have less confidence in the strength of the local economy than they did a year ago, and the biggest barriers to growth are inflation, skills shortages and a lack of access to finance.
We speak to a range of businesses about their experiences and plans for the future, as well as providing insight and advice from our own team about a range of issues that can help to protect and enhance business growth ambitions.
