Sarah graduated in 2016 with a first class Masters in Law from the University of Central Lancashire, and is a Forbes Future Trainee Solicitor. She joined the team in 2019, having previously gained experience in litigation and dispute resolution before specialising in contentious probate. Prior to studying law, Sarah ran a successful holistic therapy practice, and trained in counselling. She is therefore able to handle sensitive and emotionally difficult cases with empathy, and is approachable and down to earth.
Sarah specialises in claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and contesting the validity of a Will based on lack of capacity, lack of knowledge and approval, undue influence and fraudulent calumny. She acts for both claimants and defendants, and assists the more senior members of the team with more complex cases and estate disputes. Sarah is passionate about getting results for her clients and upon qualification as a solicitor intends to continue to work within the contentious probate area.
Sarah always endeavours to provide clear and easy to understand advice and obtain the best possible outcome for her clients in a cost effective and transparent way.
